Given its competitive tariffs and the quality of it's rooms and service you could do much worse than staying at the Gorgeous Hotel. It offers a generous breakfast and the staff are friendly but tend to struggle with English. If you do stay ask for a room away from the railway siding which makes sleeping very difficult with freight trains noisily passing through the night.

Decent rooms and good breakfast options but nobody speaks english and we had to make do with our limited chinese. If you cannot speak chinese, do not stay here. Its close to the east gungzhou railway station so if you're coming from HK, its about a 20 minute walk. Around 8-9 stations away from the Canton fair.

really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It should be rated 5+ Although it's a four star hotel but still the room is very suspicious, comfortable beds, high speed WiFi with separate in room router, bathroom is very convenient and clean. The interior is relatively new. And the most admiring thing is that comfortable "lazy-boy" chair in the corner of the room. (It helps a lot in reaching your appointments a little bit late). Location in a quiet area, about 7 minutes walking to one of the central subway stations "east Guangzhou railway station" metro, train, buses are available at this station. It's directly connected to the airport. Many restaurants are 5 mins walking local and fast food as McDonald's, KFC, Starbucks. A good underground mall is very nearby. Staff are well trained very helpful and welcoming, but English is quite rare, which is very common in China. Breakfast is maybe the only thing I didn't like cause it's mainly Chinese. Which is still very common in four star hotels in China. So finally I should consider it a very good value for money.

Hotel is situated at a small lane about 10 mins walk to the main Guangzhou East Train Station in Tianhe District. Location wise is good except for the fact that it is pitch dark when walking at night along the small lane as the street lights are surprisingly not on. - Hotel room is clean & spacious. Amenities are provided. Towels are clean. - WIFI signal is strong in the room. - There is only 1 lift in the hotel which you may have to wait. - No facilities in the hotel except for 1 cafe & 1 chinese restaurant - Breakfast spread is acceptable but cater more to chinese food - Hotel staffs are friendly and good. - As one side of the hotel is facing the railway track and the other facing a sport field, do not get the room that is facing the railway (which i did) as it is very noisy and disturbing to sleep at night. Overall the hotel is value for money especially for business traveler. May not be suitable for family.

I ran to this hotel after having a bad experience at my original accommodation. The hotel rate was very good. It is relatively close to the Guangzhou East Station. The area is generally good but I would be vigilant at night. Stayed here for two nights and had no regrets. The bathroom is a bit smaller than the room itself but there is great water pressure and the room itself had a bed, couch and a desk. I would recommend staying here again if ever in Guangzhou.
